6/6/2006 - New photos have been added of the Smith/Martinezmoles campout. ENJOY!

6/1/2006 - This just in!!! The Smith's new backyard is complete. Yes that's correct, after almost 2 years of looking at the dirt and rocks in our backyard we decided to do something about it. We just finished our landscaping and in my opinion it looks pretty darn good. You can check out the pics in the photo section.

12/30/2005 - Wow, what a gap in posting news. I started posting news (now more commonly known as a blog) back in July of 2001, when I purchased jenandmike.com, just one month before I asked Jennifer to marry me. It's actually pretty funny to look back at everything written. From my technical notations about the site itself, job transfers, the whole works. As life has complicated, I've had less and less time to work on this site. The good news... I recently changed jobs and now have a little extra time to give some much needed TLC to jenandmike.com, so welcome back, if you're even reading this. Jennifer and I are living in Roseville, CA in a home we purchased over a year ago. We love being home owners! We even have a precious little dog named Ollie... Life is good. Jennifer is still working with Interwest Insurance in Sacramento (the same company she has been with since 2000 and the Chico days) while I'm now working for K-LOVE and Air1 Radio Networks. So what a better way to end out 2005 but post a quick "news" blog to jenandmike.com.

06/17/2004 - Where should I start? Well it's been so long I guess I should start with Chico. In October of 2003, I was offered a position with Clear Channel in Sacramento (KFBK/KSTE/KGBY/KHYL) and I've been working as thier Information Technology Manager since. Jen was able to transfer within her company to thier Sacramento offices. We both work in Sacramento and live happily in Rocklin, CA (a suburb outside of Sacramento). We are still renting, but looking to buy a house in the near future. Life in the big city is different. It's a little more fast paced (as expected) but we've adjusted well. I realize it's been about a year since I did anything with the site. Jen and I have some new pictures we're scanning in and will be doing some updating here in the next few days.

06/16/2004 - I've started another website called sacramentoengineering.com - site is no longer online (12/2005). It's really a haven for a tech dork. If you ever get interested in what I do for 60 hours a week, visit the site.

08/22/2003 - In December of 2002 I took an IT/Engineering promotion at work and in the recent months I have found less and less time to work on the site. Jen and I are still living happily in Chico. Work keeps us both pretty busy and now that were a seasoned married couple (yeah right) we forget what life was like without each other. As we come up on our 1 year anniversary, we're wondering if it's acceptable to get married again?

04/11/2003 - WOW, I just now realized how long it has been since I entered news on the site. Jen and I have been married now for 6 months and are still living in Chico, getting ready for spring...

11/20/2002 - NOW ADDED - Professional Photos! We're almost done scanning all of the professional photos in. We will send out a masive email when it's complete.

11/18/2002 - Jen and I are currently working on scanning most of the photos taken from the photographer. Being that there are about 300+ photos, it might be awhile, but were working dilligently.

11/16/2002 - The site is now complete! Actually it's always a work in progress. If you have any photos or video, we would love to see them.

11/09/2002 - The site is almost the way we want it, except we are still waiting on some digital pictures from our photographer. More to come soon.

11/06/2002 - Jennifer and I are now back online with jenandmike.com. We gave the site a complete and total face lift. Make sure to take a look at all the new Wedding Photos and enjoy some of the downloads. Take Care.

09/17/2002 - It's getting close and things are starting to pile up just a bit. It seems that no matter how much pre-planning you do, it still gets stressful at the end. Things are going well and Jen and I are keeping our composure. Only 17 days left!!! WOW!

08/30/2002 - So again I'm slacking with the website. As the wedding draws near, Jen and I are working to finalize all the finer details. Since I last posted news, I have received a promotion at Clear Channel Communications and now act as their Webmaster and System Administrator. I have also taken a part-time teaching job at California State University, Chico, where I'm teaching two night sections of a computer skills class. So I have been staying quite busy!! Look forward to seeing you in October.

07/23/2002 - Wedding invitations are complete and Jen and I have made some head way on the wedding favors. Invitations should go out at the end of this week.

07/22/2002 - Good News! jenandmike.com has been renewed! NamesDirect offered me a great two year deal to renew jenandmike.com so the word is, this site will remain up until January of 2005.

07/15/2002 - Jen and I are both looking forward to this upcoming weekend. Dave, Pauia, Nancy and Michelle are coming to Chico to help us address wedding invites and other misc tasks.

07/02/2002 - As time draws near, Jen and I are working on the days music. The wedding invitations are here and ready to go out and things are starting to come together like a charm.

05/06/2002 - The center piece's have been designed and look wonderful thanks to the magic of Paula Flores.

02/08/2002 - I was looking at this page and I realized I haven't added any news in awhile. I guess no news, is good news. Let's just say that Jen and I are working on the most important part of our wedding, our honeymoon!! We have decided that we'll be spending it in Kauai.

12/20/2001 - Something not related to the website, I officially graduated from California State University, Chico.

12/14/2001 - jenandmike.com is online! jenandmike.net and jenandmike.org now redirect to jenandmike.com.

12/11/2001 - jenandmike.com has been registered. I have been trying to get this domain name for 3 years and have finally aquired it. Talk about being patient!!!

11/03/2001 - Jen and I have selected the wedding cake. It's beautiful and I imagine that it will be quite tasty. I would tell you what flavors it is going to be but that would spoil the surprise.

10/25/2001 - Lots of new photos have been added to the photo slide show. Click on the photo link above and check them out.

10/24/2001 - jenandmike.net moves to a new, faster, web server hosted by A+ Hosting.

10/22/2001 - You can now RSVP for the wedding online. I know, we haven't sent out invitations yet, but I'm planning ahead.

10/19/2001 - jenandmike.net went through a TOTAL redesign. New graphics, new links, new layout, new photos and just more stuff.

09/27/2001 - jenandmike.org is registered as well. I'm not really sure why I got it.  Still working on obtaining jenandmike.com but it doesn't look likely.
