Thank You "Mr. or Mrs. Taylor"...

Day 5 | 3:28am – As I sit here enjoying a 3am feeding with Mommy, I’m reminded of the simple things that make life a little easier.  I’d like to take a moment to thank the man (or woman) that invented the “Taylor Oven Timer”.  When Mr. or Mrs. Taylor invented that timer, they probably never realized what a joy it would bring to a man up at 3:30 in the morning timing feedings and whatnot.  It’s $6 that has truly made a difference in both mine and Emily’s life.  So “Mr. or Mrs. Taylor”, I solute you!

Mom and Baby are doing great.  Emily (aka. Yellow belly) has a bit of jaundice that we’re treating with this super cool blanket.  She brings new meaning to the song “I wear my sunglasses at night”.  The blanket glows blue and we have her wrapped up in it.  We’re getting her checked daily so no reason to be concerned.  For now she’s my absolutely adorable yellow belly (and she’s not even that yellow, I just like the name).

 

She is still the most beautiful thing I have seen in my life.  I’m forever changed.
